Mae-Jima Daphne - As Fragrant As Daphne Odora.

Daphne odora, commonly called winter daphne because of its late winter flowers, is a broadleaf evergreen shrub that is native to China and Japan. Profuse, fragrant dark pink blooms are stunning in contrast to rich green and yellow variegated leaves. It's deer-resistant and winter blooming making it an excellent foundation planting or border addition. Drought tolerant when established.

A cherished garden plant with glossy yellow variegated leaves and fragrant dark pink flowers in late winter, on a mounded shrub; a relatively fussy plant, needing light shade and well-drained soil; never move once established

  • Hardy in zones 7-9

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit.
